Small goals make a big differenceBy Eric Metcalf
When it comes to type 2 diabetes,you need diet and exercise goals that encourage you to succeednot ones that set you up to fail,says Ann Goebel-Fabbri,PhD,a psychologist and investigator at the Joslin Diabetes Center,in Boston.
"I think goals have to be small and well spelled out for people. Everyone has the experience of going to a health practitioner and being told something vague: 'You know,you really ought to lose weight.' What does that mean? Goals need to be broken down into small nuts and bolts, " she says.

There's hardly any sun where I live all winter, and I'm really trying to be healthier in general, including my diet. I'm taking a daily multivitamin+mineral, which provides 100% of DV for vitamin D, but I'm sure not all of that gets absorbed. I'm interested in adding some other sources of vitamin d. What is the best way to do it, in terms of best absorption, cheapest, and easiest? Absorption is most important though, if the others must be sacrificed. Thanks in advance.
The RDA is *much* too low.
Country Life Vitamin D3 -- 5000 IU - 200 Softgels $8.62
is the one I recommend. If you send me your email address, I will send them a new customer referral & they will send you a coupon for $10 off first purchase. They have free sh … & other mental disorders
* Hashimoto’s hyperthyroidism
In summary, the evidence for safety and remarkable efficacy of Vitamin D3 suggests that virtually ALL adults should probably take 50,000 units of D3 daily. This is certainly true for those with virtually any illness.

Also, can anyone give me diet and exercise tips that would be helpful?
